Kate Majarov
Kate Aloise Majarov has been a member of the Wu Tang PCA family since 1994, studying and learning through teaching. In 1998, she earned the title of “Internal Female Grand Champion” at the New York Chinese Martial Arts Championship Summer Bash. She formalized her commitment by becoming one of the first 9 disciples in 2009. Passionate about Chinese culture and language, she has a B.A. in East Asian Studies from William & Mary and has lived in China and Taiwan. She has also published articles about the Wu Tang in Inside Kung Fumagazine, and more recently in the 2023 Clayton Patterson book, “In the Shadows: The People’s History of New York City Underground Tattooing”. Now living in Maryland with her husband Tom, they continue studying at the Wu Tang virtually and in person, including trips to China.
